Teardrops from the Sky

Teardrops From The Sky

Life at a stand still,
Everything around him just tearing apart,
Just as a ship engulfed in a storm,
His heart was breaking apart,

The man who had everything,
Felt like the man who lost his biggest possession,
His biggest strength was just his worst weakness,
In a whirlpool of memories that he is a victim of.

Her memories now have taken him as their captive,
Beautiful she was and brutally honest were her thoughts,
He had lost his heart in a split second,
Knowing that his life would now only revolve around her.

Everyday he worked hard to be the man she wanted,
Being ruthless at his business,
Diplomatic at his best and a fixer when he wanted to be,
With her around he used to be himself.

She found the shy little kid inside him,
Making him feel alive every now and then,
Giving him all the love in the world,
Pampering the little kind inside him.

Who had a clue that the very kid she pampered,
Was just a ghost from his life,
Buried deep inside all the hate that made him,
His biggest pillar would collapse underneath his reality.

She left him the very moment what she thought was the right time,
Not knowing that how she would destroy him,
In an attempt to save him,
She took away his heart and burnt his memories.

Stripping him of his life,
Leaving him during his struggles with life,
Not knowing what he was enduring from his past,
Forgetting her was easy but the memories that now haunted him were forever.

Breaking himself again,
Destroying everything that was a reminder of her memory,
Slashing his body to be filled with scars,
And getting her out of his system was his task.

As the clouds settled in,
Wreaking havoc on the world as it is,
With the last drop of rain,
His eyes twinkled for the last time.

As he coughed his blood,
He knew she would see him,
With one last step forward from him on the ledge,
Bleeding from his wrists.

He jumps with a smile on his face,
And his eyes with a little tear,
In an instance she glances up,
To see the teardrops from the sky.
