You're In My Veins(Part Two)

You're In My Veins(Part Two)

Funny as I sit here alone
In this burning house injured and all I could see is you
With a fading image of yours sitting besides me
As this house burns down to it's very foundation

It has been a troubled time
Ever since I saw you last
This life seems meaningless
How strange is it when a stranger is able to destroy you

Everything has changed ever since you left
With the things that defined me
Now coming crumbling down
And your memories not fading
How tough it has been surviving without your soul intact

All I can think is your face
And how mesmerizing it was
It captured my soul in the cage of your eyes
With the eyes twinkling, only a tin man wouldn't fall in love with it

How we wish we can control life
In our own way and trying to make it safe
How the things which we once survived upon
Turned out to be fake
Just like the angle face of your's

Everything will change
As nothing is ever the same
Just like you leaving me at the worst stage of life
And now me standing in this inferno

Trying to remove you from my system
And how many cuts I cut
Still I can see your ghost from my memories come to life
How I try to get away from the past

But sometimes you can't win
Even when you have a glimpse of light
Showing you a way out
You are unable to get them out

As the blood now drips
From the scar on my head I see you coming back
From the long gone memories staring right at me
Asking me to come
All I see is the blood around me

And then I figured it out
That all I ever saw was you
You were there with me even if I was alone
As you were always in my memories

No matter how hard I tried
The scars I caused just to get you out of my system
I then realized where you were hiding
Not just in my memories but you were in my veins

As this building chars down
The flame evaporating the last drop of blood from the ground
I see you downstairs gazing in despair
Only to see the flames hold me in it's cradle forever
